Roadmap
What it already does, what comes now and what is on the list. The detail, version by version, is on GitHub. The full roadmap, on GitHub.
Done
- Live by groups, priorities, GO and Stop, BeatGO and Pulse
- Programmer with palettes, per-parameter FX and a command line
- Scenes, super scenes with audio and cuelists with tracking
- Playbacks, SHOW and remote control on your phone
- MIDI and OSC mappings with templates for Akai APC
- Six languages, the full manual, a guide and example shows
Now
- Fixes after the first release (1.0.1)
- Testing and tuning with real gear: USB DMX interfaces, Art-Net and sACN nodes, controllers and phones (1.1)
- A wizard that detects the connected interfaces, and an output test (1.1)
- Access to the GDTF-Share library (1.1)
Later
- 3D visualiser
- Video mappings on the 2D plan
- Manual screenshots in every language
- A signed installer, so Windows doesn’t warn
- Preview versions for anyone who wants to be ahead
Out of scope
- Playing shows without a computer on standalone interfaces: they depend on closed hardware and firmware.
- Cloud libraries and other manufacturers’ closed formats: we use the Open Fixture Library, GDTF and the fixture creator.
