The first published version of DMX Total Control: free and open-source DMX lighting control for Windows, made for live shows.

What it brings

• Live by groups: scenes sit in groups that play side by side; in an exclusive group only one plays at a time, with a crossfade. Priorities, a master and a fade per group, GO and Stop, BeatGO and Pulse, and the rhythm you tap on each scene.
• Program: the programmer with dimmer, colour, position and any channel live, palettes, a command line and per-parameter FX.
• Scenes: static, with steps, FX, super scenes with a timeline and audio, and cuelists with tracking.
• Playbacks: pages of faders with GO, pause and flash.
• SHOW: your own touch screen of buttons, faders, dials and panels, also on your phone or tablet over wifi.
• Mappings: MIDI and OSC, with templates for the Akai APC mini, APC mini mk2 and APC40 mkII and their LEDs.
• Patch: a library of thousands of fixtures, the Open Fixture Library and GDTF import.
• Outputs: USB DMX (Enttec, Eurolite, DMXKing, uDMX…), Art-Net and sACN/E1.31. DMX doesn’t stop even when the program is busy (opening a show, for instance).
• For live work: blackout, a grand master for intensity and a recovery copy of the show in case the program closes suddenly.
• In six languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian and German), with its manual (F12), a first-steps guide and example shows. Dark, light, high-contrast and night themes.

It opens QLC+ shows (.qxw).

It still needs testing with more real gear (interfaces, controllers and fixtures): if something doesn’t work with yours, tell us in a bug report.
